What is the purpose of the pulverizer?
Grinders are commonly used in the food, chemical industry, but are also suitable for a variety of applications. The main purpose of these machines is to change the processing object from large particles to small particles, powder, ultrafine powder.
According to the D90 standard of required material fineness (90% of the material reaches the predetermined fineness), pulverizers are defined as the following types:
Coarse Crusher (2-20mm), Universal pulverizer (12-120 mesh), ultra-fine pulverizer (finer than 120mesh)
Coarse crushers are mainly used for crushing and pretreatment operations in various industries. Its main function is to process larger diameter materials (10 cm or less) into smaller diameter granular materials (2-20 mm in diameter).
Universal pulverizer, as the name suggests, can be widely used for a variety of materials, which can well meet the needs of customers with one machine for multiple purposes.
If you expand it: there are four internal cutter heads: toothed disc type, air-cooled type, turbine type, and hammer type. According to the specific application scenarios of customers, corresponding cutter heads can be equipped to achieve better grinding effect. The pulverizer is mainly used for medium and fine crushing operations in various industries. It processes granular materials into medium and fine powders with a certain diameter for subsequent processing or as finished products.
Compared with the ordinary pulverizer, the superfine pulverizer has multiple performances such as air selection, no screen, and uniform particle size. The production is continuous. When the machine is crushing, the temperature rise is not obvious, and cooling equipment such as Air cooler, liquid nitrogen can be added, so it is also suitable for various heat-sensitive materials.
The ultrafine pulverizer is mainly used for ultrafine pulverization in most industries. The crushed material is crushed to reach the required material diameter, which is mainly used for raw material processing of high-end products.
Application of pulverizer

By installing an air-cooling device on the pulverizer, the excess heat in the pulverizer cavity can be taken away while pulverizing. This way, your shredder can improve the quality of the finished product for heat-sensitive materials.
Other customizations include the choice of feeding device. The feeding device can effectively improve the crushing efficiency, reduce labor costs, and at the same time ensure uniform feeding and reduce failure rates.
Regarding the quality control of the finished product, we can add a screening link after the crushing process to control the quality of the final product. The unqualified products will be returned to the crusher through the conveyor for secondary crushing, so as to ensure the quality and increase the rate of finished products.
