Compared with conventional materials, a larger model is required for the same output and conveying distance. The specific gravity of the material pile is relatively light, so the fluency of the discharge has to be considered, and a corresponding assist device is designed to ensure the smooth discharge of the material.
3, The characteristics of the product
Understanding the characteristics of the product will help us choose the appropriate vacuum conveying equipment.
Product categories are generally divided into three categories: food, medicine, and chemicals.
Different industries have different standards. The food industry requires food grade and the material is at least SS304. The pharmaceutical industry must meet the GMP level, and the requirements for machine materials are generally SS316L.
In the chemical industry, the corrosiveness of some chemical products should be considered, and the materials in contact with the materials should be selected to be corrosion-resistant.
Regarding the humidity of the material, the vacuum conveyors manufactured by Chenwei are generally used for the conveying of dry powder or granular materials. We have tested the materials that are relatively wet. For materials with a moisture content of less than 10%, our machine can also handle them. A typical case is the delivery of fresh potato flour.
The particle size of the material is generally used for conveying materials below 10mm (but not limited to). According to our experience, it is also suitable for the conveying of grains, such as corn, soybeans, wheat, peanuts, etc. A typical case: the conveying of shelled peanuts.
4, Conveying distance
The vacuum feeder manufactured by Chenwei is highly recognized by the market for its small size, compactness and food and pharmaceutical grade. When selecting models, conveying distance is one of the important factors. Compared with horizontal conveying, the vertical lifting section requires more energy than horizontal distance . So far, the longest transmission distance we have achieved is 50M.
5, Batch processing or continuous production
Chenwei made vacuum loader, the standard model is batch feeding, divided into feeding time and unloading time, cyclic reciprocating feeding.
If you need continuous feeding, we need to install a fan at the outlet of the vacuum hopper to achieve continuous feeding.
Regardless of the feeding method, the customer needs to pay attention to whether the processing capacity of the downstream equipment matches. For example: if it is a conveyor, whether the conveying capacity matches, if it is a screening machine, whether the screening capacity matches, and if it is a packaging machine, whether the packaging speed matches.
6, Material transfer path
To ensure the perfect fit of the designed vacuum conveyor, we must clearly understand the transfer path of the material, that is, where the material goes from where to where. For example, material is transferred from a silo to a mixer and then to a packaging machine. What we also need to know is: the type of mixer, closed or open? When feeding a closed container, we need to consider the vacuum conveyor in the form of feeding the mixer. At the same time, we also need to consider the wall thickness of the mixer and the pressure it can withstand, as well as the adaptation of each joint. All these factors will affect the conveying process.
7, Conveying output
In the case of a given material and conveying distance, the larger the conveying volume per hour, there is no doubt that the larger model is required.
8, Prevent product dust explosion hazard
While formulating powder conveying solutions for customers, the particularity of the site should also be considered. Dust pollution in the air also has the risk of explosion. We should take preventive measures/protective measures for end users. Choose electrical explosion-proof and explosion-proof vacuum pumps to protect the personal and property safety of users.
Batch screening is generally aimed at within 5% of the sieve, using industrial sieves to separate large particles, remove impurities, reduce potential product quality risks, ensure that the final product meets quality standards, and avoid non-compliance After-sales problems caused by products.
Generally, the sieve machines commonly used in batch sieving include direct discharge vibrating sieve, air flow sifter, and linear sieves.

Taking the flow-thru separator as an example, the inlet and outlet are on the same vertical line, the material can pass through the screen quickly, and the large particles are intercepted by the screen and discharged under the action of vibration force.
The linear screen is a horizontal linear operation, and the inlet and outlet are on a horizontal plane. Compared with the straight screen, the vertical space is not too restricted.
For machine materials, SS304 and SS316L materials are suitable for food and pharmaceutical grade production. For the chemical industry, in order to save costs, Carbon steel is available.
